Featured Lecturer: Dr. Norman Wirzba
Dr. Norman Wirzba will deliver the Grider-Winget Lectures on the campus of Theology at 91Fans on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
A widely respected scholar and author, Dr. Wirzba has written several influential books, including聽The Paradise of God: Renewing Religion in an Ecological Age, and Making Peace with the Land: God鈥檚 Call to Reconcile with Creation.
鈥淲e are honored to welcome Dr. Norman Wirzba to NTS,鈥� said Dr. Josh Sweeden, Professor of Church and Society. 鈥淗e is a thoughtful theologian whose work explores the deep ties between ecology and Christian faith. His teaching is grounded in Scripture and offers insight for the whole Church.鈥�

The Grider-Winget Lectures honor the legacy of Dr. J. Kenneth Grider and Dr. Wilfred Winget. They are designed to bring distinguished theologians to NTS whose work reflects the seminary鈥檚 theological tradition and mission.
